4th of July | Plus Size Patriotic Picks

In my book summer does not officially start until the 4th of July rolls around. I look forward to this time of the year because for me it means lots of family BBQ’s, watching fireworks with my hubby, timeless carnivals and last but not least…retailers roll out their 4th of July lines. 

I SERIOUSLY LOVE THE 4TH OF JULY! This year I put 3 patriotic looks together. I found the cutest stars and stripes one-piece swimsuit at Forever 21+ for less than $23! Seriously a steal and I love the colors and the way it fits. This swimsuit is perfect for that boating trip to the lake, pair it with some jeans or in my case a skirt and you’re ready to go from the beach to the BBQ! 

I also scored some cute American inspired hair pieces to bring everything together. I love these and will use these all-season long.

I LOVE this USA Babe shirt! I also got it from Forever 21+ and its super lightweight and fits true to size. Something I always look for. If you’re not into super bold patriotic pieces this may be the shirt for you. The simple stripped tee and block letter font is a simple, yet powerful way to get into the spirit of the 4th. Plus, it’s white so it will keep you cool in those hot summer rays. (Pro Tip: Keep a tide to go pen, handy just in case that perfect burger gets a little messy)

Girl Club, am I right? Love this tee and the cute little rose that fills in the “I” in the word girl Again… a simple way to get into the spirit of things.

I paired both of these looks with skirts that are both flattering and flowy, and the colors were spot on.
