Style Advice

Hey babe! I wanted to hop on here and share some advice about styling an outfit. If I'm being totally honest I don't really spend too much time thinking about most of the looks I put together but thankfully they usually work out anyway. I love taking risks, mixing patterns, and trying new things. I especially love taking the same pieces and making them go with several looks so I can wear them more often. Below I have pictured a look I recently wore. I knew I was going to be in the desert and I wanted a picture with palm trees.

The look came together with a desert color scheme. I also knew I wanted it to have a springy vibe as well since the weather is warm and I feel like spring colors make me feel more airy. haha One tip I would give is if your pants are a color make sure your top pulls the color out or is a solid so it doesn't look to busy. Or if you want the look to be bold I say stack the patterns. It honestly just depends on the look you're going for. 

The first piece of the outfit I knew I wanted to wear was these Olive colored pants. I just got them from Maree Pour Toi and I wanted to get a good shot of them. I wanted a top that would compliment the color but not steal the show so I chose this Floral top. It has olive green in the pattern and goes really well with this relaxed travel look. The hat was the perfect topping to pull this look together giving both a spring and desert vibe. This look is a more casual one for me but I LOVE these pants. They're seriously so comfy and this top makes me still feel dressed up. The bell sleeve is my favorite detail.
